B.Tech New Session Begins at Graphic Era University

Chairman of the Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, said that the coming four years are not just about earning a degree, but about giving direction to dreams, refining one’s personality, and building a new identity. Dr. Ghanshala was addressing the B.Tech Induction Program today.
The new B.Tech academic session commenced at Graphic Era today. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala advised students never to forget the struggles and sacrifices of their parents and to make them their greatest source of inspiration. He said that every student possesses a unique talent, which, when identified and nurtured through continuous hard work and the right guidance, can be transformed into extraordinary success.
Dr. Ghanshala said that education at Graphic Era is not limited to earning a degree or securing a job. Here, students are connected with industry, research, innovation, and startups to prepare them as young individuals who do not merely seek employment but create jobs and new opportunities.
Through a presentation, Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala took the students and their parents through Graphic Era’s journey of more than three decades. Referring to the university’s efforts to encourage sports and sporting talent, he said that five Graphic Era students had represented the country in the previous Olympics. He also shared that this year, a B.Tech student from Graphic Era Deemed University secured a placement package of ₹61.63 lakh, along with highlighting several other achievements of the institution. Encouraging the students to remain determined and work hard, he recited the lines of Santosh Anand:
“Tum saath na do mera, chalna mujhe aata hai; har aag se waaqif hoon, jalna mujhe aata hai; tadbeer ke haathon se, taqdeer banani hai…”
The induction program was organized to help students, who had just stepped out of school life and entered the university for the first time, happily adapt to the new environment, policies, and traditions. Through team-based activities, interactive tasks, and motivational exercises, the students got to know one another. Their initial hesitation about the new surroundings gradually gave way to the enthusiasm that filled the campus, helping them become comfortable to a great extent. Throughout the day, the excitement of the new students and their hopes for a bright future were reflected on their cheerful faces, making the beginning of their university life a memorable one.
On their very first day, the new students toured the university campus and explored its state-of-the-art laboratories, library, sports grounds, and other facilities. They made new friends, enjoyed the cafeteria, and embraced the beginning of campus life. Students and parents captured photographs to preserve these memories forever, while the university’s disciplined administration, safe environment, and academic culture left a lasting first impression on the parents.
