Graphic Era students spread voter awareness

Dehradun, Feb 13

The Students of Graphic Era University performed a street play in two schools to highlight the importance of voting.

Today, students of Graphic Era Hill University organized an awareness programme to tell about the significance of voting. They performed nukkad nataks at Shri Govardhan Saraswati Vidyamandir Inter College and Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya in Dharampur to educate people about the importance of voting. During the programme, students provided information about the process of adding names to the voter list, making corrections, updating addresses, and registering as new voters. They also spread awareness about the objectives, eligibility criteria, and timeline of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign.

The awareness programme was jointly organized by the Department of Media and Mass Communication, Graphic Era Hill University in collaboration with the State Election Commission. The programme was attended by the Head of the Department, Dr. Taha Siddiqui, along with Dr. Himani Binjola, Navneet Gairola, Aman Dubey, BLO Kuldeep Singh Kandari, and students.
