Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, renowned educationist and chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions has said that Civil Defence Dehradun will prioritize life saving measures during any emergency situations and work in this regard would be done in right earnest.
After taking charge s the Chief Warden of Civil Defence today, he said that his first priority will be to develop a robust life support system. He further said that In case of any accident, sudden stopping of heartbeat, the life of the victim could be saved by resorting to an immediate CPR but proper knowledge and right techniques is important in this regard. “Civil Defence will take some significant steps in this direction so that no life is lost due to the lack of proper knowledge,” he added.
Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said that bringing awareness about the upsurge of intoxication amongst youngsters is also on his priority list besides connecting people with the methods to avoid infectious diseases is important as well as the experience during Covid pandemic has underlined this. He said that an action plan will be made to start these works on an extensive level so that each and every person of Dehradun benefits from this.
Chief Warden has called for a meeting of wardens of Civil Defence on March 9, 2024. Deputy Controller of Civil Defence Shyamendra Kumar Shah, who came to give charge said that the meeting of wardens of Civil Defence will be organised in Chanakya Block of Graphic Era Deemed University on March 9.
