The students of Graphic Era University danced for hours together on bollywood mash ups and remixes of India’s famous ‘DJ Chetas’ as ‘Grafest-24’the cultural extravaganza of the university commenced today. The series of amazing mash ups of ‘DJ Chetas’ started late in the evening at the Graphic Era Deemed University’s ground as thousands of students cheered, danced and enjoyed his music numbers. As ‘DJ Chetas’ arrived on the stage and started with the song ‘Om Deva Deva…’ of movie Brahmastra, students welcomed him by chanting his name and dancing. For more than one decade ‘DJ Chetas’, one of the most famous DJ’s of Bollywood has ruled the music street with his electrifying mash ups.
His songs ‘Ve kamleya’, ‘Jogado Tara’, ‘Mera hi jalwa’ were enjoyed thoroughly by youngsters. He played ‘Teri Adava’, ‘Jhumka gira re’, ‘Kya hua tera vada’ and many more remixes. As soon as Chetas played the song ‘ArjanVeli De’ students’ enthusiasm erupted through the roof. This song increased the rhythm of their steps while dancing.‘Agar tm sath ho’ from the movie ‘Tamasha’, made the evening even more magical. It was amazing to watch students singing the song ‘Pehle bhi mai tjhse mila hu, pehli dafa hi milke laga’ making ‘Grafest 24’ a memorable event. It was a heart touching moment for the students as the felt the music through their hearts.
At the end of the event, tricolour confetti was blown into the air. Students felt the moment of patriotism as Vande mataram and maa tjhe salam was played. With this the event came to the end with amazing performance of DJ Chetas. After watching the thousands of students tied with the string of punctuality, Chetas accepted that he has never seen a crowd like Graphic Era. Before DJ Chetas’, ‘DJ Abbey’ set the mood of ‘Grafest 24’ with his enthusiastic performance. ‘RJ Rishi Raj’ compared the event and violinist Ashutosh Sangre accompanied Chetas.
Graphic Era Group of Institutions’ Vice Chairperson Rakhi Ghanshala, Pro- Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh and Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University Dr. Sanjay Jasola were present in the event.
