Dehradun, July 25
Five students of Graphic Era University who will be representing India in Paris Olympics were showered with wishes by thousands of students of the university. Fellow students expressed their trust in their victory and wrote emotional message on a large banner which was set up at Graphic Era Deemed University campus here today.
Graphic Era’s student of MBA Lakshya Sen in Badminton, MBA’s Ankita Dhyani, BBA’s Suraj Panwar and BBA’s Paramjeet Singh Bisht in athletics will represent India in the Paris Olympics. Along with this, Manoj Sarkar from MBA will also compete in Para Olympics. Graphic Era’s alumni Arun Singh will attend the Olympic games as a member of the technical support team.
A large signature board was set up with the national flag to encourage and give best wishes to these five students who are going to showcase their talent in the Paris Olympics at the B.tech auditorium of the Graphic Era Deemed University. The fellow students wrote their good wishes for these players on this board through their messages. While one wished these players to shine brightly another one wrote that their your dedication inspired them to perform better in life. Some students wrote that they were sure that they will definitely win gold, someone else wrote that whatever be the results “you will always be our champion”. Few students encouraged the players to just- Go for it. Students from Poland, Turkey, Taiwan, Egypt, Sri Lanka, South Africa along with many countries also wrote messages to encourage fellow students, to boost their morale and wish them best for their victory.
