Republic Day celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm at Graphic Era University

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University, today.
At Graphic Era Deemed University, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade of NCC and NSS cadets. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Narpinder Singh said that Republic Day highlights the importance of maintaining the principles and values enshrined in the Indian Constitution and people from every field should work together and contribute towards nation’s development. “This will not only benefit the present but will also pave the way for a better future, “ he added.
On behalf of Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, Vice Chancellor Dr. Singh announced a cash prize of Rs.1.5 Lakh for NCC and NSS cadets who participated in the spectacular parade.
At Graphic Era Hill University, Vice Chancellor Prof. Rakesh Kumar Sharma hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade of the NCC women’s wing. While addressing the program, he emphasized on the importance of spreading awareness about the Indian Constitution. On behalf of Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, Prof. Sharma announced cash prize of Rs. 50,000 for NCC cadets and Rs. 15,000 rupees for Srishti Dhasmana, Anoop Bharti, Ayush and Brahmas Group for their patriotic song performance.
