Graphic Era teaches ways to stay away from stress
Dehradun, September 10. Experts at a programme organised at Graphic Era said that maintaining good mental health, staying away from stress and seeking counselling on time are important. The ‘Mind Matters’ programme was launched for this purpose.
A two-day ‘Unstuck IRL: Mind Matters’ programme was launched at Graphic Era Hill University to help students stay away from stress. Chief Guest Vice Chancellor Dr. Tabassum Naqvi said that difficulties and failures are a part of life, but mental strength is essential to overcome them. She urged students to talk openly about stress and their problems, seek help whenever required and learn from every challenge to move forward.
Managing Director and CEO of Antarmanh Consulting, Dr. Seema Rekha, said that mental health is a strong foundation for learning, development and a better life. Amid the growing pressure on students related to studies, expectations and the future, it is important for them to talk openly about their problems. She said that educational institutions should create a safe environment where students can share their feelings without hesitation, seek timely help and support one another.
The programme was jointly organised by the Maitri Club of Graphic Era Hill University and Antarmanh Consulting. Dr. Anubha Pundir, Student Counsellor Muskaan Jaggi, faculty members and students were present at the programme.
