Engineers taught AI tools at Graphic Era

Dehradun, January 14. Engineers of the Rural Engineering Department were provided training in Artificial Intelligence, management skills, and modern digital tools at Graphic Era.
A ten-day workshop was conducted for rural engineering engineers at Graphic Era Hill University. Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit R. Bhatt stated that today’s trained engineers are the builders of the nation’s future and infrastructure, therefore empowering them with the best technical and managerial knowledge is essential.
During the ten-day workshop, engineers received intensive and hands-on training on various technical and management-related subjects. The training included 2D drawing through AutoCAD, modern concepts of building planning, advanced surveying techniques, GPS-GIS based data analysis, project management, time management through CPM-PERT, effective use of digital tools, and learning how AI tools like ChatGPT can simplify work processes and enhance efficiency.
The workshop was jointly organized by the School of Management and the Department of Civil Engineering, Graphic Era Hill University. Dean Academics Dr. Pramod Nair, Head of School of Management Dr. Vishal Sagar, Head of Department of Civil Engineering Anoop Bahuguna, Engineer L. P. Bhatt were present at the program. The event was conducted by Dr. Shweta Chauhan.
