Aerodynamic design is the technological future of the nation

Dehradun, January 16 : Prof. Sanjay Mittal of IIT Kanpur said that aerodynamic design carried out with the right mindset and a scientific approach not only improves flight performance but also takes the nation’s technological future to new heights.
He was addressing students at Graphic Era Deemed University today. Prof. Mittal stated that precise design techniques significantly enhance the efficiency and performance of aircraft. Through a presentation, he highlighted the key concepts related to aerodynamic shape optimization. He explained the role of Computational Fluid Dynamics, modern computational tools, optimization techniques, and physics-based modeling in the design of airfoils and wings.
The session was organized by the Department of Aerospace Engineering of Graphic Era Deemed University. The event was attended by the Head of the Department, Dr. Sudhir Joshi, along with Dr. Vijay Patidar, Dr. Kumar Gaurav, Dr. Pushpendra Kumar, Dr. Chandra Kishore, Prabhat Singh, Alok Kumar, other faculty members, and students.
