In anticipation of increasing number of ‘Adi Kailash’ and ‘Om Parvat’ pilgrims this season, Ppithoragarh district administration has started another facility to provide inner line permit from Pithoragarh district hospital as well.
“On the instruction of Pithoragarh District Magistrate, the inner line permits for ‘Adi Kailash’ pilgrimage, now will be provided to pilgrims from room no 10 of district hospital, Pithoragarh after required medical test,” said Kirti Chandra Arya, District Tourist Officer, Pithoragarh.
According to DTO, with 1645 inner line permits issued today, a total number of inner line permits issued till day from May 1, this year has reached 18561 permits.” As the flow of pilgrims is on the rise, we have started the facility from Pithoragarh as well. Earlier, the permits were being issued by SDM, Dharchula, “said Arya.
