Graphic Era Pays Tribute to Martyr Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami

Graphic Era University paid tribute to its alumnus, Martyr Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami, who laid down his life in the service of the nation. A condolence meeting was organized at the university to honor his extraordinary courage and supreme sacrifice.
Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami was a student of the B.A. English (Honours) batch of 2019–22 at Graphic Era Deemed University. He made the ultimate sacrifice while performing operational duties under challenging conditions in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. His life and sacrifice serve as a source of inspiration for students. His journey from being a university student to becoming an Army officer and ultimately sacrificing his life for the nation inspires the younger generation to embrace the values of courage, discipline, and patriotism.
During the condolence meeting, university officials, faculty members, students, and staff paid their heartfelt tributes to the martyr. The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Santosh S. Saraf, introduced Lieutenant Goswami and shared details about his martyrdom. All present observed a two minute silence in his memory and paid homage to his unwavering dedication to duty, exceptional bravery, and selfless service to the nation.
The gathering was attended by Registrar Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, Dean of International Affairs Dr. D. R. Gangodkar, along with other faculty members, students, and staff.
