Training on Incubation management begins at Graphic Era University
Dehradun, July 10
A training programme for incubation leaders and faculty members on modern techniques to build startups, scale them, and strengthen an innovation-driven ecosystem has commenced at Graphic Era University.
Company Secretary of the Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PTCUL), Dr. Arun Sabharwal, inaugurated the Incubator Manager Training today at Graphic Era Deemed University. He said that merely dreaming big is not enough to become an entrepreneur; effective management of available resources, patience, and practical thinking are equally essential. He added that the objective of a startup should not be limited to economic gains but should focus on solving real problems faced by society and the nation.
Pro Chancellor of the University and Acting Chairman of the Technology Businesses Incubator (TBI), Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, said that incubation managers will serve as a crucial link between startups and innovation, guiding young entrepreneurs in preparing business plans, securing investments, building industry connections, and accessing markets. With the right direction and necessary resources, Uttarakhand’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem will be further strengthened.
During the two-day Incubator Manager Training (IMT), eight technical sessions will be conducted. Participants will receive practical training on topics such as the fundamentals of incubation, business models, investment, and revenue generation.
