Oak Grove School, Jharipani in Mussoorie adjudged five star rated school

Oak Grove School, Jharipani in Mussoorie has been awarded as a ‘Five Star Rated School of India’ for its excellence in the “Innovative Practices for Academic Excellence” category by the ‘Global Talk Foundation’ in its seventh C.E.D Star Rating School’s Annual Conference held on 12th March 2022 at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi.

The award was received by Abhishek Kesarwani, Principal Oak Grove School from the Chief Guest Dr. Abdullah Rasheed Ahmed, State Education Minister, Republic of Maldives and Shekhar Dutt, Former Governor, Chhattisgarh,  Dr M .V.V Prasad’s  Rao former Director CBSE were the guest of honour of this National Level Conference and Award Ceremony.

The other distinguished guest and dignitaries included Professor M.M Pant ,Former Pro Vice Chancellor, IGNOU. Dr. Bishwajeet Saha, Director ,Training & Skill Education , CBSE enlightened the gathering about ‘Policy to practice in Early Childhood Education with special inference to National Education Policy 2020. Several schools across the country were short listed for the different category of the Awards and the proud winner of ‘Innovative Practices for Academic Excellence’ was Oak Grove School, Jharipani, Mussoorie.

A citation from the bench of jury said, “Oak Grove School is our chosen winner due to its innovative approach, versatile and creative Pedagogical Strategies and its reach which prominently transforms from mechanistic to holistic attitude of our young generation towards Mother Earth.”

Notably, Star Rating School is Global Model of CED inspired schooling that complements United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal and Quality Assurance of Teaching and Learning.

Oak Grove School won the award for its excellence in Innovative Practices for Academic Excellence, on the basis of conducting various teaching –learning programs in the midst of the Covid pandemic.

Principal, Oak Grove School congratulated all faculty members, staff, parents and the students of the school for this achievement.
