17th Foundation Day of Graphic Era deemed University celebrated with enthusiasm

the 17th Foundation Day of Graphic Era Deemed University was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on august 14, 2024. Founder of Graphic Era and Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr. Kamal Ghanshala expressed happiness at the university getting better NIRF rank this year and encouraged everyone to work together dedicatedly to make it even better.
The celebrations of foundation Day commenced at Graphic Era’s Silver Jubilee Convention Centre with a cake cutting ceremony. Founder and Chairman of Graphic Era Dr. Kamal Ghanshala and Vice Chairperson of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Rakhi Ghanshala cut a large cake with university’s officials and employees who have been serving for more than 15 years.
Founder and Chairman Dr. Ghanshala while addressing the ceremony said that Graphic Era Deemed University is the only university in the state that has been listed in the list of top 100 universities of the country according to the NIRF ranking of Central Government for the past five year. In the 2024 ranking, Graphic Era Deemed University has achieved 52nd rank nationwide. It has also secured 52nd rank in the engineering category and 59th rank in the management category. The university’s ranking has improved as compared to previous years and this has been made possible by integrating technology in courses and labs, new researches and world class faculty. Now, the university needs to perform better in order to be included in top 50 universities of the country.
Dr. Ghanshala said that Graphic Era receiving recognition as a Medical College is also related to excellent facilities and technology. With University’s improved rank, Medical College getting accreditation and humble expansion of services, our responsibility of doing best for the country and society has also increased. He received applauses for singing a song on the request of teachers.
The ceremony was filled with patriotic songs, folk dances and group singing. Ranjan Joshi and Mehek Kakadkoti sang songs. A student’s group including Anubhav Vashisht, Arpit Raundiyal, Ayush Sharma, Ashi Gautam, Tatvagya Bhargav showcased their talent with a brilliant drama based on the life of Shaheed E Azam Bhagat Singh. Ashish Sonker, Neha Penuli from Rangdarpan, Shruti Tyagi, Pratibha Uniyal from Team Natrang, Sonali Gupta, Saksham Bisht from Team Magical Feet, Dhawani Maltonia, Prapti Dhama, Vasudev Kaushal, Ansh Vashistha from Team Morpankh, Kartikey, Vansh Bhardwaj from DBC and Anant, Shreyansh Navani from Arohan Group received cheers and applauses for their cultural performances.
On this occasion, Pro Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh, Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University Dr. Sanjay Jasola, officials and faculty members were also present.
