Milestone in inclusive learning in Uttarakhand through Shine Avi Learning

The Chief Minister stated that the Shine Avi Learning initiative is an important step toward making education more accessible, effective, and inclusive. He added that the central and state governments have always prioritized educationas per the National Education Policy 2020, which aims to empower children to understand, think, innovate, and advance in life with confidence.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government is continuously working in the field of education. Smart classes, ICT labs, PM Shri Vidyalayas, Atal Utkrisht Vidyalayas, digital teaching materials, and science and innovation-based education are being promoted in the state. To ensure inclusive education reaches every child, the government has strengthened school facilities such as ramps, railings, accessible toilets, adapted furniture, and clean drinking water.

The Chief Minister said that approximately 5,800 children with special needs are enrolled in schools at various levels in the state. More than 1,300 children are being provided special education and rehabilitation facilities through 11 government-run special schools. He said that more than 300 special teachers have been appointed at the elementary and secondary levels, and the process of filling the remaining vacant positions is underway.

The Chief Minister said, “Our goal is to ensure inclusive and quality education, where every child in the state can reach their full potential and contribute to building a new India. We must prepare our children not just for exams, but for life.”

The Chief Minister, while congratulating educationist  Anita Sharma and the entire team of Shine Avi Learning, said that  Anita Sharma has innovated in the field of education in Uttarakhand by reverse migrating from abroad. He said this step is an example for other migrants as well. The Chief Minister said that over the years, many migrants have expressed their desire to return to their villages and work, and many are doing so. He said that we all have to preserve our heritage and advance our civilization. He called Anita Sharma a brand ambassador of ‘Reverse Migration’.

The Chief Minister said that the state of Uttarakhand assimilates people from all over India. The people of our state look at a person’s thinking and their actions. Despite many challenges, the state has moved forward on the path of continuous development. The people of Uttarakhand have always inspired the government to move forward. He said that our state has been an example for the entire country in many matters. The Uniform Civil Code was implemented first in the state. Uttarakhand secured first place in the list of Sustainable Development Goals. The state government has also taken tough decisions like strict anti-copying laws.
