Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today said that his party is determined to remove the crisis of confidence in Indian politics that was created by over 60 years’ rule of Congress party. The Defence Minister was addressing an election meeting in Lohaghat town of Champawat today.
The Union Minister claimed that India which stood at 11th place in world’ economy is now ranked fifth today and would get the 3rd place by 2026 due to efforts of Modi government.”Our Prime Minister has taken out 25 crore people out of poverty in the last 10 years. We have not only strengthened the basic infrastructure of the country but also made the world to listen to our points of view,” he claimed.
He said that it was only Modi who could got the eight former Naval officers from clutches of death in Qatar.”Those who blame us of doing religion based politics, should know that Modi, is the only Prime Minister who was awarded by highest awards of their country by five Arab nations,”said Singh
Addressing election meetings in Lohaghat town of Champawat district and Gauchar in Chamoli district, the BJP leader said that after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister in 2014, the corruption and lack of confidence in polity has been removed by the BJP government.”It is BJP rule under Narendra Modi, that has made people believe in polity and honesty of the government,” claimed Singh.
Rajnath Singh said that the world today has started recognising the significance of India under the leadership of Modi.”Today, not only the countries and leaders of world listen carefully to the points of view of India but also recognise it that the 21st century of world development will be century of India,” said Singh
On the issues concerning ex-servicemen, Rajnath Singh said that Narendra Modi had assured the ex-servicemen of implementing “One rank, One pension’ scheme and implemented it earmarking a sum of Rs 1 lakh crore on count since then.
He said that it was the influence of Modi on the world that over 22000 students trapped in Ukraine war zone could return safely. “It was Modi who stopped the war for over 4.30 hours to retrieve the Indian students from different cities in Ukraine,” claimed Singh
Rajnath Singh said that under the leadership of Modi, India is becoming self reliant in defence production today.”When we came to power, only Rs. 600 crore defence equipments were being exported, but today we are exporting over Rs. 22000 crore worth defence equipments from our country,”said Singh.
He said that almost entire borders of country are being defended by brave soldiers from Uttarakhand and our Prime Minister has special attachment towards army.”The profession of defending the country’s borders can only be done by large hearted, spiritually seasoned and brave people, as Uttarakhand is a spiritual region, only here can reside the brave people who could remain ready to sacrifice for country in defending it’s borders,” said Singh.
