Graphic Era hospital workshop on new technology to give oxygen to children
Dehradun, August 25
Experts shared information on new technology for delivering oxygen in children using a mask at a workshop organised at Graphic Era Hospital, here today.
International and national experts addressing the workshop said that the technology of non invasive respiratory support decreases respiratory issues in children, protects them from infections and eliminates the use of tubes that are inserted into the airways. Experts also emphasized on the use of new technology for delivering oxygen in children instead of mechanical ventilators.
Prof. Boris Kramer from Poland, Dr. Saikat Patra, Dr. Poonam Singh and Dr. Rakesh Kumar, were the experts who addressed the workshop.
The workshop was organised by Graphic Era Hospital in collaboration with Uttarakhand Neonatology Society and Neonatologist Education by Tele Training Services. Dean of Graphic Era Hospital Dr. Nitin Kumar Bansal, Medical Superintendent Dr. Amit Varma, Medical Director Dr. Punit Tyagi, Chairperson of Neonatology Society, Dr. Vipin Vaish, Graphic Era Hospital’s Prof. Girish Gupta, Dr. Shantanu Shubham, Dr. Syed Moiz Ahmed, Dr. Richa Joshi, Dr. Aayushi Joshi, Dr. Sanchita Dhawan, Dr. Thanga Sabaresh and more than 100 delegates from various institutions participated in the workshop.
