Internal differences come to fore at Congress rally at Pithoragarh

Inter differences within Congress party came to fore at a party rally which was disrupted following levelling of allegations of anti-party activities against local party legislator Mayukh Singh Mahar by senior party leaders of the district. The Congress MLA had to leave immediately.
“I have taken disciplinary action and given notices to three Congress leaders namely, Bhawana Nagarkoti, Deepak Lunthi and Mahendra Lunthi for disrupting the meeting,” said Ganesh Godiyal, state Congress president.
Godiyal said that if not given satisfactory answer within three days’ time, these Congressmen will be liable for further action by party.
