Message of love during ‘Holi Milan’ events at Graphic Era University

The message of love and harmony was conveyed in the Holi Milan event organized by the Civil Defence Organization held at Graphic Era Deemed University grounds here today. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation with songs and colours. Chief Warden of Civil Defence and Graphic Era Group of Institutions’ Chairman Prof. Kamal Ghanshala and Director Graphic Era Hospital Dr. Puneet Tyagi, participated in the program. They themselves sang songs much to the appreciation and applause of the audience. Deputy Controller of Civil Defence Organization, Shyamendra Kumar Sahu, and other officials also participated in the Holi Milan event.

A day earlier on Saturday evening another evening of songs was held as part of  Graphic Era Holi Milan event, in which teachers, students and renowned doctors of Graphic Era hospital also danced to the tunes, making everyone feel the joy of Holi.

The colorful event, started with performances by the university’s student group ‘Swaragini’, who sang songs in Garhwali, Kumaoni and Hindi. Following this, senior lyricist Deepak mesmerized the audience with his new and old songs. On audience’s demand, Graphic Era Group of Institutions’ Chairman Prof. Kamal Ghanshala, mesmerised everyone with his choice of songs.

Director of Graphic Era Hospital, Dr. Puneet Tyagi, also sang songs and received applauses from the participants. Officials and teachers, including  Pro-Chancellor Graphic Era Deemed University Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor Graphic Era Hill University Dr. Sanjay Jasola, Secretary D.K. Joshi, Dr. Arvind Dhar, and Medical Superintendent Dr. Nitin Bansal of Graphic Era Hospital, were present in the Holi Milan event. The event was conducted by Sahib Sablok.
