Graphic Era Organises Training on AI-Based Modern Teaching Technologies

Dehradun, July 7: Graphic Era has launched a training programme on AI-based teaching technologies to equip faculty members with the skills required to meet the evolving needs of education and modern teaching practices.

A three days Faculty Enablement Programme (FEP) began today at Graphic Era Deemed University to train faculty members in the use of generative AI tools such as Google Gemini and NotebookLM. Inaugurating the programme, the University’s Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Santosh S. Saraf, said that modern technology and artificial intelligence are the future of education. He added that those who fail to adopt these technologies will be left behind in the rapidly changing world.

During the training programme, AI expert and Founder of Prex Studio, Anurag Kumar, trained faculty members in the effective use of Google Gemini, NotebookLM, Google Workspace, and Google AI Studio. He explained the fundamentals of generative AI and demonstrated how to use NotebookLM to create source-based study materials, as well as how to develop custom AI assistants for academic and professional use.

The FEP has been organised by the Department of Management of Graphic Era Deemed University. The programme was attended by Registrar Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, Head of Graphic Era School of Management Dr. Navneet Rawat, Head of the Department of Business Management Dr. N. S. Bohra, FEP Coordinator Abhijit Thapa, along with faculty members from various departments.
