Padma Shri Dr. BKS Sanjay presented his maiden poetry book to Ruskin Bond

Dehradun, June 30

Dr. B. K. S. Sanjay an eminent orthopaedic surgeon  and’ Padam Shri’ award recipient presented his maiden poetry book “Uphar Sandesh Ka”  to famous writer Ruskin Bond at his residence at Mussoorie on Wednesday. Ruskin Bond present his book “the golden years”- many joys of living a good long life to Dr. BKS Sanjay.

Dr. Sanjay is a multi-faceted personality who is passionate not only for his clinical or surgical work but for writing as well. Dr. Sanjay has been conferred with the 4th highest civilian award Padma Shri in 2021 for his distinguished services to the nation. His poetry book “Uphar Sandesh Ka” has published by Bhartiya Jnanpith and Vani Prakashan and well received in literary circles.

Ruskin Bond, a renowed author has been awarded with Padma Shri in 1999 and Padma Bhushan in 2014.
