Graphic Era Deemed university has once again achieved a significant milestone by being listed in the top 100 universities by the Union Government. Graphic Era has secured 52nd rank among other universities across the nation. Along with this, Graphic Era Deemed University has become the only university in the state of Uttarakhand, that has been securing its place in Central Government’s list of top 100 universities of the country for five consecutive years.
Celebrations have started in Graphic Era with the announcement of University getting 52nd place in the country. After establishing continuous records in the field of new discoveries and placements, Graphic Era has once again proven its excellence. Graphic Era has been included in Central Government’s list of top 100 Universities of the country for the 5th time and that too with a better ranking. The Ministry of Education released NIRF ranking – 2024 today. In this, Graphic Era has been given 52nd rank in the list of universities nationwide. Last year, in this list of Central Government, Graphic Era was on 55th place.
In the NIRF ranking 2024, Engineering category, Graphic Era has received 52nd rank along with other best Institutions of the country. Last year, in engineering category, Graphic Era Deemed University was on 62nd place. For Management studies, this time, Graphic Era has secured 59th rank. This reflects University’s better performance and improvement as compared to last year’s 65th rank. After the announcement of Graphic Era getting higher rank in top 100 universities of the country, students danced and sang to express their happiness in the university. Sweets were also distributed amongst students in the campus.
Graphic Era Deemed University continues to excel due to its level of education, laboratories equipped with world’s newest technologies, amazing records in placements, new researches and world class facilities. In a span of few weeks this is the second achievement of Graphic Era. Earlier, National Medical Commission, in it’s first inspection approved 150 seats of MBBS upon verifying all the facilities and accredited it as a Medical College.
Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said that this ranking is like Central Government’s approval of the connect of the university with world’s newest technologies, new discoveries for benefitting the whole world, patents on a large scale and research along with high level of education.
Dr. Ghanshala said that the continuous improvement in ranking is due to the quality education given in the university, preparing courses according to the future requirements of the industry, setting records in placements and globally educated faculties. Graphic Era’s hospital is on similar track and is becoming the beacon of general public’s trust. In this hospital, through world’s newest technologies and renowned specialists, new records are being established. The open heart surgery in Graphic Era Hospital is being done by and operation of merely 2.5 inch incision that too without cutting the chest bone.
PhD degree awarded to Vartika in Computer Science
Graphic Era Deemed University has awarded PhD degree to Vartika Agarwal. Vartika has been awarded this degree for her research on various ways of managing road traffic using mobile phones.
Vartika has completed her research work under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Sharma from Graphic Era Deemed University’s Computer Science and Engineering Department. She has been awarded this degree after successful final defence.
